The golf course overview

Vietnam Golf & Country Club (or VGCC), or as the locals used to call Thu Duc golf course, uses its advantage as the nearest course to the center of Ho Chi Minh city. Located in the suburb of Ho Chi Minh city, just about 20km of highway travel, approximately 1 hour of car driving from the center of the city.

Vietnam Golf and Country Club, the first 36 hole golf course in Vietnam, is built on a 300-hectare land and consists of two championship courses, the old West and the new East. The architects exploited the benefit of the original land to create the most natural course of all. The two courses set around the existing woodlands, golfers will feel challenged with the tree lines run throughout the course.

The East course features more generous fairways than the West Course but the many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards offer more than enough protection.  The West Course is very long so we do not recommend the back tees and it requires great accuracy to score well as the trees lie in wait for that errant shot.

VGCC is considered a semi-private golf club so the clubhouse and changing rooms are excellent as is the restaurant and very well-stocked pro shop.
